Your Weekly Update from Diana Pullen Week of May 15, 2026 | Redmond, Oregon Real Estate & Community

Hey friends,

It's been a full week and an even fuller weekend ahead. Before I get into it, I want to do a quick recap on last week's Pickleball for Scholars because it deserves it.

That event was a blast. The organizers put on something really special: lessons, snacks, drink tickets, raffles, a well-run tournament, and genuinely fun people everywhere you looked. Ryan stepped in as my partner and we had the best time and yes, we lost, but we laughed the whole way through. Ryan actually wore a chest camera and got all our miraculous losses on film! It'll be back next year and I have a feeling it's only going to get bigger. If you missed it, put it on your calendar now.

Okay, here's what's happening this week.

REDMOND OR REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE | MAY 15, 2026

Redmond Oregon Housing Market Snapshot: What the Numbers Say This Week

The median list price in Redmond, OR 97756 is holding steady at $595,000 this week, and the Market Action Index is sitting at 33, essentially unchanged from last month. The market is in a bit of a holding pattern right now: inventory is at 231 active listings, prices haven't been moving higher, but we're still technically in seller's market territory. It's a stable moment, not an exciting one, but stable has its own value.

A few numbers worth noting:

Average days on market crept up to 92 this week, while median stays at 42. That gap keeps widening, and it keeps telling the same story: the right home at the right price moves. Everything else waits. 39% of active listings have had a price reduction, up from 36% last week. Zero percent of listings saw a price increase this week. New listings are coming in at a median of $576,995, below the overall median, which suggests sellers entering the market right now are being thoughtful about where they land.

The takeaway: we're in a steady market, not a hot one. If you're a seller, strategy matters more than ever right now. If you're a buyer, there's more room to breathe than there was six months ago.

WHAT'S HAPPENING AROUND REDMOND: MAY 15-17, 2026

Your Redmond Oregon Community Events Guide for This Weekend

Sisterhood Game Night at the Masonic Lodge

Tomorrow, Saturday May 16th, Sisterhood of Redmond is teaming up with Job's Daughters for a game night at Redmond Masonic Lodge #154. It runs from 7-9, snacks are provided, and we'll play whatever works best for the group. There's a $5 entry but I've got it covered for any Sisterhood member who wants to come. Just make sure you update your RSVP so I know you're coming. It's going to be a fun night and a great way to meet some new people in our community.

Tattoos for a Good Cause at Four Flames Tattoo Studio

Four Flames Tattoo Studio is partnering with Brightside Animal Center for a fundraiser where 20% of all proceeds go directly to supporting the cats and dogs in their care. No deposit, no booking required, just walk in and get some ink for a good cause. Located at 2905 SW Hwy 97, Suite 110 in Redmond. I stumbled across this one and thought it was too good not to share.

Yarn in the Park

Every Saturday from 10am to noon at American Legion Park. Bring your own chair, bring your yarn, and come visit. That's really it. Casual, outdoors, good people. A lovely way to spend a Saturday morning if that's your thing. Isn’t this fun?!

Bunco Night at Wild Ride Brewing: MA Lynch PTO Fundraiser

Our own Sisterhood member Kalina Tucker is heading up the MA Lynch PTO's last Bunco Night of the school year and it sounds like a really fun evening. You don't have to have a kid at Lynch to come, all ladies are welcome. It's $10 to play, half goes to the pot and half goes to the school. Never played Bunco? No problem, they'll show you how.

Come at 5:30 to grab food from the food trucks out front and a drink. Wild Ride is also doing a pint night for Lynch, so every pint you buy that evening contributes to the school too. Gaming starts at 6pm in the Barrel Room. They do need a head count so only RSVP if you're actually coming.

FROM MY WEEK

Open House in Prineville, Little League, and a Few Other Things

I'm assisting Julie Fahlgren at an open house tomorrow in Prineville from 10am to 2pm. The property is a beautifully maintained custom home on 1.61 acres at 1176 NE Barnes Road, with sweeping views, a flexible multi-generational layout, a shop, garden area, fruit trees, and a daylight basement. It's the kind of property that's hard to describe and really needs to be walked through. If you have a client, a friend, or a family member who's been looking for something special in the Prineville area, I'd love to see you out there. Reach out if you'd like more information or to set up a private tour.

Pickleball with the Sisterhood

We had just three of us at pickleball this morning but it was a great time. We're meeting at Valley View Park these days since the RockChuck Pickleball Club reserved our regular courts at Sam Johnson. Speaking of which: if you play pickleball or want to, the RockChuck club membership is only $25 a year and lets you reserve courts. Worth looking into at raprd.org/pickleball-club.

Little League Wrap-Up is Coming

Our rookie season is wrapping up at the end of May and I'm already a little sad about it. The Green Jet Machines have had the best time this season and the boys have gotten so silly and comfortable with each other, it's been such a joy to watch. I’ve loved my job as Team Helper primarily keeping the dugout scene sane. I'll still have a few concession stand shifts after the season ends since Redmond Little League continues through the summer. If you see me, come say hi.

June Book Club: Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult

Our June Sisterhood book club pick is Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult, suggested by our own Barb L. It's a story about a fractured family, a tragic accident, and a legal battle between siblings over life support decisions. Family loyalty, moral dilemmas, complicated forgiveness: classic Picoult territory and I'm already looking forward to the discussion. Location is TBD but we'll confirm soon; last month we met on the SCP Rooftop and it was WINDY but still a good time. If you'd like to host or know of a good spot, reach out. First Thursday of the month as always.

SISTERHOOD OF REDMOND

Pickleball: Friday mornings at 9am, currently at Valley View Park while our regular courts are reserved. Beginner friendly always. True RSVP’s appreciated.

Game Night: Tomorrow, Saturday May 16th at the Masonic Lodge. RSVP so I can cover your entry, $5. Just bring yourself. If you have a game to share, it can’t hurt! We love to play!

Book Club: June pick is Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult. Location TBD, first Thursday in June.

Bunco Night: Wild Ride Brewing, benefiting MA Lynch PTO. $10 to play, food trucks at 5:30, gaming at 6pm. RSVP only if you're in.

Hope your weekend is a good one. I'll be at the open house in Prineville in the morning and game night Saturday evening, so it's shaping up to be a full day in the best way.

Talk soon, Diana Pullen
